How to Interpret and Implement the Ontario Regulation
419 ESDM and Dispersion Modeling Requirements- 1 day course
- $1,100
Many facilities will need to comply with the Ontario Regulation
419 requirements by 2010 and many may not realize it takes 3 or

knowledge and skills to understand the impacts of the new regulation,
the modeling and reporting requirements, and the supporting technologies
and tools available to help you comply in the most timely and cost
effective manner.
Course covers Regulation 419 requirements and new modeling requirements,
ESDM rules and requirements, introduction to modeling, new achievements
in modeling technology, and strategies for compliance.

Dispersion Modeling and ESDM Reporting for Ontario Regulation
419 - 2 day course - $1,900
Many companies and facilities along with their environmental consultants
are overwhelmed with the effort needed to meet the Ontario Regulation
419 in a timely manner. The new regulatory requirements are much
more onerous and dispersion modeling for a single operating scenario
could take as much as 2 months or longer.
This hands-on technical course provides the necessary training
for performing dispersion modeling according to Regulation 419 requirements
and preparing ESDM reports. Those already accustomed to Regulation
346 modeling will learn to use advanced models and strengthen their
understanding of modeling concepts.
Course covers Regulation 419 requirements and new modeling requirements,
ESDM rules and requirements, introduction to modeling, new achievements
in modeling technology, strategies for compliance, meteorology and
dispersion, model structure and implementation, sophMOD workbench,
and scenario modeling. This is a 'hands-on' supervised session.
